Opposites Attract
Thursday Jul 28, 2022
Thursday Jul 28, 2022
In Judges 8 we see Gideon in a paradox of being exhausted, but they continued chasing the enemy. That doesn’t make sense. Exhausted and chase don’t go together. Maybe you find yourself in the same paradox where your tired, but you’re still chasing what God has promised you. We look today at what to hold on to when opposites attract.

Overcoming Shame
Sunday Jul 24, 2022
Sunday Jul 24, 2022
It is one thing to know you carry shame about the terrible things you have done against God and others. It is one thing to know you carry shame about terrible things that have been done to you. It is another thing to confess that shame to God and receive His mercy and grace. Today we learn how to overcome our shame.

Jude’s Warning
Tuesday Jul 12, 2022
Tuesday Jul 12, 2022
We're doing a teaching out of the New Testament book of Jude. There is an important and loud warning sounded in that little letter that we need to hear in our generation of believers. With so much drift and deception happening among believers, we need to wrestle with the strong challenge to “defend the faith.” What does it mean, what does it not mean. How are we to respond to some of the “grace abuse” that is happening in the current generation of Christians? Our compassion needs conviction. We are going to talk about that this weekend.

If we are being honest sometimes, we allow religion to go before Jesus. We allow our preference, what we think, or our knowledge of the word to blind us to the life change that is taking place around us. Jesus is bigger than our religion and our traditions and will meet us in our unbelief.

The Power of One
Monday Jun 27, 2022
Monday Jun 27, 2022
We as the Church do not take our cues from the world; rather, the world should take its cues from us. This morning we will take a look at the Church. More specifically, the Church as seen in in the book of Acts. There is a lot that we can learn from the Church in Acts - namely “The Church does not take its cues from the world” But beyond that, how we can act like the Church in Acts.

Why Not Me? 03 - Engaging in Bible Conversations
Monday Jun 20, 2022
Monday Jun 20, 2022
We are closing out this three part mini-series on making a ministry impact. This Sunday’s challenge is by far the most stretching. We are going to learn about engaging in Bible conversations with people. Now many of us may feel very uncomfortable and intimidated about bringing up Bible truth in a chat with someone. Yet our world continues to get bolder, and bolder with its representation of lies. So we need to gain a fresh level of confidence from Hebrews 4:12-13 and recognize that we are increasingly accountable for incorporating the living and powerful Word of God into some of our conversations.

Why Not Me? 02 - Practicing Hospitality
Monday Jun 13, 2022
Monday Jun 13, 2022
During this three part mini-series “Why Not Me?” we are looking at some ways to train our faith family on what to do to make a ministry impact in someone’s life. These are “easy” and accessible things we all can do. This week our focus is on practicing hospitality. While that sounds like something out of a page of a Martha Stewart book, there are actually several commands and examples given across the New Testament of how people can be impacted by simply opening our home and heart to people. But admittedly, things have changed a little since Biblical times. However the mandate to practice hospitality hasn’t been lifted. So how can we do that in a 2022…in social distanced conscious culture? Let’s find out!

Why Not Me? 01 - Seeing People With Your Ears
Monday Jun 06, 2022
Monday Jun 06, 2022
This week we will learn how to see people with our ears, you read that right, seeing people with our ears. We are going to learn a craft of asking people questions and listening to them. Jesus was a question-master, He asked over 300 questions! Jesus reveals a true link between listening and love. May the Holy Spirit teach us how we can make a ministry impact in people’s lives by learning to ask good questions and wait to listen to people.
